WILSON Laretha Norris Wilson, "Reet-, 85, passed away November 14, 2008, at Park Ridge Nursing and Rehab. She was born March 31, 1923 in East Palatka, FL and later moved to Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Mt. Olive A.M.E. church, 840 Franklin Street, Rev. Granville Reed, pastor. Mrs. Wilson is survived by a devoted family that includes: her daughters: Yvonne Smith (Robert), Candi Sullivan (John); sons: Weston D. Wilson, Jr. (Faye), Reese and David Mims; one devoted sister: Mildred J. Morgan (Eugene); one devoted granddaughter: Westine Lodge (Jerome); 11 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 6 great, great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Faith Christian Center, 8985 Lone Star road and the interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Wilson may be viewed Wednesday at Carthage Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family has requested the cortege to assemble from 644 Birch Street.
